Connecting Street Work with Spirituality
Raymond Perrier is the Director of the Denis Hurley Center in Durban, South Africa. Their mission is outreach, care, feeding and protection of homeless citizens. Much of his work for the city included working with faith-based groups to caring for those marginalized in the community, providing education, providing care to refugees, drug addicted clients and the homeless. Raymond is coming to Saint Peter's to share with us about his work in South Africa and the urgency for people of interfaith community to care for those that are marginalized in society.

Time: 12:00 P.M.
Venue: St. Peter Chapel 
After the event, participants are invited to join us for Pizza and Conversation in the Office of Campus Ministry located in Room 105 of the Mac Mahon Student Center.

Playwriting Workshop w/ Prof. Stephen Cicirelli & Prof. Jonathan Brantley
Ever wanted to see your words acted out on stage? This 8-week workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of playwriting. You will learn all of the skills necessary to write your very own one-act play! In spring semester, workshop attendees will have the opportunity to cast and direct their original plays as part of a one-act festival. Act fast! Space is limited. The workshop will meet AT NOON on the following dates, in the Conference Room of the English Department: September 12, September 26, October 10, October 24, November 7, November 14, November 21, December 5.
