Event Description:
Bill Armbruster ’71 discusses his visits to Taiwan and South Korea this summer and how they have changed from the 1970s, when he lived in Taiwan and visited Korea. Back then, Taiwan was under martial law and Korea was ruled by a dictator. Today, both are robust democracies with advanced industrial economies. This presentation, sponsored by the Center for Global Learning, is part of International Education Week 2018.
