The Saint John's Bible: A Story That Inspires

Event Description:
The Saint John's Bible is the first handwritten, illuminated manuscript, commissioned by a Benedictine monastery in over 500 years. The O'Toole Library at Saint Peter's has a fine arts, museum quality, Heritage Edition (limited to 299 editions) of the Bible. Librarian Mark Graceffo will tell the story of how and why the Bible was commissioned, and highlight a few of its illuminations.
